I love destinations where you feel comfortable exploring on foot, strolling to a great restaurant or taking an evening walk without worry. Some of my favorite places are those where everything you need is just steps away — whether it’s the beach, a charming café or a gourmet market where you can pick up fresh local treats. One of my absolute favorite destinations is Cardiff-by-the-Sea in Southern California. It’s my personal little haven — quiet, beautiful and effortlessly walkable. I can wake up and walk to the beach, grab coffee at a local spot, enjoy a fantastic meal at a relaxed (but incredible) restaurant and pick up fresh gourmet groceries to enjoy during my stay. No pretense, no crowds — just an easy, laid-back experience that feels like home.
