My Story
My approach to travel is shaped by culture, language, and time spent paying attention. While teaching and studying global cultures, I was drawn to the idea of the Grand Tour—not as history, but as a mindset: traveling slowly, with purpose and curiosity. As a travel advisor, I work as a curator of culturally rich journeys for travelers who favor depth over speed and leave space for discovery. I believe travel should change you, which is why a line from a book I just read resonates so strongly: “Perhaps it’s better to tear off a piece of yourself and leave it behind in every place you go—so that one day you feel at home anywhere and grow as large as the world.” The trips I design aren’t about seeing everything—they’re about coming back with something that stays.
Travel Style
My travel style is quiet, exploratory, and culturally focused—built around thoughtful pacing, well-chosen urban and/or natural landscapes, and moments that let a place unfold organically around me. I’m drawn to itineraries shaped by art, architecture, history, and everyday life, with space for walking, observing, and unplanned discoveries. Rather than rushing through highlights, I value travel that feels immersive, well-edited, and quietly enriching—designed to be experienced, not consumed.
