“Towards the sun, every day!” That’s the motto I live by. A true “worldaholic,” I’m always seeking new places to explore, and I find great joy in helping others craft unforgettable travel experiences.
My Travel Style
As a Dutchie who has lived in the Netherlands, Spain, Singapore, and now the USA, I’ve come to believe that travel is one of the most meaningful ways to connect with the world. I design trips that blend thoughtful comfort with authentic exploration—pairing boutique hotels full of character with exceptional local guides, curated cultural experiences, and active adventures. Whether it’s a private museum visit, a horseback ride through nature, a scenic hike, or a hands-on cooking class rooted in local cuisine, my goal is to create travel that feels inspiring, effortless, and uniquely yours.

For our trip to Amsterdam and Paris we were thrilled to work with Marisca Kooij. Marisca's help with hotels surely saved me many hours on the internet. Marisca's advice was very much tailored to us. Because of Marisca's association with Fora, we received a $100 voucher that we used in their restaurant. We also were able to check in a bit early which was well appreciated after a red-eye flight. I expect to be back in touch with Marisca when we plan our next trip! I recommend her whole-heartedly!

Colombia is famous for its stunning nature, colorful towns, rich wildlife and very welcoming people.
