I first worked in travel over 40 years ago as both a leisure and business advisor, getting the mechanics of travel planning under my belt and exploring places I’d never been to before. There were a few career changes after that, including going to culinary school and starting my own catering business. Thanks to creativity, dedication and attention to detail, I’ve enjoyed preparing innovative cuisine and developing long-lasting relationships with my clients since 2007. You can take the girl out of the travel industry, but you can’t take the wanderlust out of the girl… As we raised our two sons, my husband and I placed a premium on travel, visiting such far-flung countries as Australia, Fiji and Tanzania. Closer to our Bay Area home, we discovered the arid beauty of Utah’s Red Rock country, the excitement, history, and cuisines of major US cities and the aloha spirit of the Hawaiian Islands during annual Spring Break visits.

After a circuitous route, I feel like I’ve come home now that I’m a Fora Travel Advisor. Ferreting out unique facets of the culture, history, art, flora and fauna of a destination feeds my natural curiosity and brings me joy, which, of course, I want to share with you! My niche markets are Australia, New Zealand, the islands of Hawai'i and the South Pacific, but I’m always game to learn about any place in the world you’d like to go. I’m certified as a Travel Specialist for Hawai'i, Australia and the Cook Islands, and I’ve started the training to become one for New Zealand and Tahiti. I look forward to finding some uncharted territory together!
