I believe that some of the best memories are often serendipitous, so I obsess over planning travel that strategically balances curated experiences with unstructured wandering. Born and raised in Seattle, I know that one of life’s greatest pleasures must be the feeling you get when the sun hits your skin. As such, many of my trips are sun-chasing adventures. Whether the trip is planned around the beach or a city, I prioritize walkability to get a taste of the life of a destination. My claim to fame is eating 46 cones of gelato during my 12 days in Italy, so I often look for sweet indulgences no matter where I go. While I am a maximizer in circumstances with specific time, budget and ability constraints, I am also an expert at creating “treat yourself” trips when the occasion calls for it.
