My Story
Ciao! I’m Livia — an Italy-based travel writer who curates meaningful journeys across Italy, Asia and North Africa.
My Travel Style
I’m an Italian-American travel writer and cultural explorer based in Rome, with a deep love for slow travel and authenticity. Over the past 15 years, I've explored Italy from north to south — a few of my favorite places are Sicily (especially the Aeolian Islands and Mount Etna), Capri, Ischia, Portofino, Puglia, Tropea and of course Rome, my home. I appreciate thoughtfully designed hotels that capture the true essence of luxury: fostering meaningful connections and supporting local traditions over checklists and crowds. Beyond Italy, I’ve spent extended time solo traveling throughout Asia and North Africa. I can help you plan trips to Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Sri Lanka, China, Taiwan, The Philippines, Nepal, Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco. These journeys have shaped how I see the world and deepened my belief in travel as a powerful tool for cultural understanding and transformation. If you're dreaming of a journey that is rich in culture, beauty and discovery, I’d love to help you bring it to life!

Our honeymoon in Italy was nothing short of magical, and it's all thanks to Livia! From the moment we reached out and started planning, Livia was incredibly helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable (not to mention professional and so easy to get along with!). She helped to tailor our itinerary perfectly to our interests and preferences, ensuring we had an unforgettable experience everywhere we went. Livia's knowledge and passion for Italy really helped us narrow down where we wanted to visit and stay and every recommendation she gave was nothing short of 5 stars. She helped us plan everything from hotels and transportation/transfers, to wine tastings, boat trips and meals, and everything was truly above and beyond. Livia put together a comprehensive Google Map, based on where we were staying, with all her tips and highlights for local experiences in those areas - including restaurants, bars, landmarks, wineries, beaches, lido's, etc. This not only helped us plan our trip but was such a helpful resource during our trip when we could just pull up her map and find somewhere nearby for lunch. EVERY SINGLE restaurant/bar that Livia recommended exceeded our expectations and were hands down our favorites of our trip. She truly knows all the local hidden gems that are off the beaten tourist track. We even changed our trip around at the last minute and Livia was so gracious and accommodating and ensured that every last detail was taken care of. She also recommended a fantastic rental car company that made traveling throughout Southern Italy so safe and easy. We felt so taken care of and stress-free throughout the entire trip. We can't thank Livia enough for making our honeymoon so special. We highly recommend her services to anyone planning a trip to Italy and we will surely work with her on all our future travel to Italy! We wish we could give her 10 stars.

Where To Stay in the Philippines: Four Islands, Four Luxe Escapes
The Philippines is made up of over 7,000 islands—and each one has its own unique identity. From Siargao’s laidback surf culture to Boracay’s powder-white beaches, and the secluded luxury of private islands like Pamalican and Pangulasian, this is a country made for island-hopping. These four resorts are a great way to explore different sides of the Philippines—wild, romantic, remote, and adventurous. Perfect for travelers looking for somewhere that still feels off the radar, but with all the comforts of high-end hospitality.
