Lindsey Daems

We could not possibly express our gratitude toward Lindsey. Her professionalism throughout and attention to detail is what made our trip a trip of a lifetime for all of us. She checked in constantly and when we were in crisis she was immediately there to support and assist us throughout our return. We would never take a trip with her as our travel advisor. She is beyond exceptional at what she does.

As I stated in the previous review Lindsay supported us while we located for locations and confirmed that this would be a perfect location for all of us. She could not have been more than accurate in her description and details.

Lindsay is a 5 STAR in all that she arranges for her clients, and this was no different. It was our favorite stay.

Too bad there aren't more than 5 stars, for I would give Lindsey 10 stars! From start to finish, Lindsey was incredible. We spent a little over 2 weeks in London, sandwiched around a 1 week cruise. We wanted to stay close to London's iconic sites for part of the stay and closer to Hyde Park after the cruise and Lindsey hit a Home Run with both selections as she found two remarkable hotels. Both were literally a stone's throw from a London tube station, which was high on our list of preferences. And she was able to have breakfasts included and even a hotel credit at both hotels!

We stayed at the Conrad St James for 12 days prior to our cruise and at the Royal Lancaster for 3 nights after the cruise. Both hotels treated us like royalty the entire time and the Royal Lancaster even upgraded us to a room with a sweeping panoramic view of the London skyline, which was magnificent. We would stay at either hotel again without hesitation.

And we never would've found either hotel if not for Lindsey, for when I initially checked Booking.com on my own for hotel options, neither hotel showed up on my search. And if even if they had, I'm sure we wouldn't have gotten the perks that Lindsey provided!

Along with finding us two remarkable hotels in the perfect locations, Lindsey also arranged for private transportation to & from Heathrow Airport, which was a huge convenience. And she booked tours for us and followed up with the tour companies to make sure nothing fell through the cracks.

An added bonus (which I didn't realize at the time) was the Fora app. When Lindsey asked me to send her copies of our various reservations, e-tickets, etc. so she could add them to the Fora app, I told her I already had them in Google Drive and could just retrieve them that way. But she convinced me to give the Fora app a try, so I sent her copies of everything, even though I figured I'd probably never use the app. On Day 2, I decided to give the app a try. And it was fantastic...so much so that I never once went back to Google. I relied on the Fora app the entire time. It was so easy to use and everything was organized by the day. Whenever I needed to access an e-ticket or confirmation code, I opened the app, scrolled down to that day on the calendar and there they were. Easy Peasy!

Lastly, I had booked our cruise months before Lindsey got involved and hadn't yet heard of Fora, so I'd used a different travel agency. And when I compare the level of service between that agent and Lindsey, it's truly like Night & Day. The other agent was friendly and replied to my emails, but it was essentially up to me to stay in touch and make sure I was on track with all the various pre-cruise actions I needed to take. Lindsey, on the other hand, was incredibly proactive. She reached out to me regularly even if it was just to reassure me that everything was still in order & on track. At one point she even called to say that she noticed the price of one of the hotels had gone down and had contacted the hotel and gotten us the reduced price. Now that's exemplary service! In short, I experienced first-hand the difference between a travel agency's "booking agent" and a true Travel Advisor. There was no comparison...Lindsey clearly hit it out of the park!

We had an incredible experience with the itinerary that Lindsey planned for our 10-day trip to Italy (3 days in Rome and 7 days in Tuscany). This is not the first time that Lindsey has planned a trip for our family and as expected this trip did not disappoint!

This was our first trip to Italy together as a family and we wanted to make sure our daughters got a taste of all the highlights of Rome. From start to finish, everything was expertly planned, personalized and balanced. In Rome, we were able to see the Vatican, Colosseum and other historic highlights without feeling rushed. Which was amazing for a 3-day trip! Because our trip was so seamlessly organized, it made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel smooth and enjoyable.

Tuscany was a slower trip with the perfect pace. Lindsey designed an itinerary that was perfect with a mix of charming towns, wonderful food and down time built into our schedule so we could enjoy the scenery instead of rushing from place to place.

One of the things that makes Lindsey unique is she doesn’t just provide a generic itinerary. She takes the time to find out your preferences, likes and dislikes and creates a personalized itinerary that is clearly designed with care and experience. Last, the app that Lindsey uses is AMAZING! There is nothing like opening your itinerary on your phone and having your tickets, maps and personalized instructions all in one place.

This trip to Italy was an unforgettable family experience that we will talk about forever and we are so grateful for the expertise, care and attention that Lindsey put into planning this experience for us. We cannot recommend Lindsey enough!!
