My Story
Travel isn’t something I discovered—it’s something I was born into. Growing up, my dad was an amateur pilot who flew our family to the Bahamas every Christmas, and to countless other destinations along the way. Those early adventures, plus a couple of family trips to Europe, gave me a deep sense of what travel can do: the exhilaration of somewhere new, the shift in perspective, the inspiration that stays with you long after you’re home.
That love only deepened as I got older. After college, I moved to England for six months, then backpacked around Europe with little more than a pack and a sense of adventure. Later, I packed up my life again—this time with my husband and kids—and spent a year living in Vancouver, Canada. I know firsthand what it’s like to travel as a solo explorer and as a family trying to make every moment count.
When I’m not planning trips, you’ll find me making candles—each one inspired by a destination. It’s my way of bringing the feeling of travel home.
