My Story
I’ve built a life across continents, as an empty nester, I discovered that travel isn’t just about checking boxes it’s about becoming part of a place. I’ve lived that reality: fifteen years in Florida (where I was a decade-long Magic Pass holder, understanding what it means to truly know a destination through repeat visits and deep community), time throughout Europe, seasons in Albania, and now, a significant part of my year in Sicily.
Travel Style
Slow travel with purpose: I don’t believe in collecting destinations. I believe in understanding them. My approach is rooted in time, the kind of travel where you stay long enough to recognize the rhythm of a place, where locals become part of your story, where you’re not rushing to the next Instagram moment.
Authentic over obvious: I’ll show you where the real magic happens. Not the tours everyone takes, but the osteria where the owner knows your name by day three. The wine bars where you taste bottles that never make it to export. The neighborhoods where locals actually live. The hidden corners that reveal a place’s true character. The goal is to experience travel beyond the guidebook.

Lea was amazing to work with. She was very patient with me trying to decide where to stay for a staycation celebration and found me an excellent room for an amazing price.
I will definitely book my future travel with Lea!!!

Barcelona: A Solo Adventure Where Getting Lost is Half the Point
Barcelona was the first place I ever traveled alone in Europe, and it changed something in me. I arrived jet-lagged and slightly terrified, climbed into a sidecar, and let the city take me somewhere I never would have found on a map. I got lost, took the wrong bus, ended up at the wrong hotel, and had the best dinner of my life anyway. Barcelona taught me that the wrong turn is often exactly where you need to go.
