Even after becoming a full-time nomad for two years, and visiting and returning to 45 countries, still, nothing makes me more excited than the subject of travel and exploration! The best part of traveling to me is exploring the hidden gems — a small independent shop, a tucked away historic building or a secluded spot with a spectacular view (bring a beverage and just sit!). As an art advisor, much of my personal travel is art, design and architecture focused. I often make itineraries that highlight the connection between a place's ancient history and how the local artists have been inspired by it. When I'm on these trips, my favorite hotels are the kind full of personality, thoughtfully designed and that really give you a sense of the place you're in. Design, comfort and good service are a must for me! When I'm not visiting human-made treasures, get me to the Outdoors! Whether it's returning to my RV or a luxury glamping tent after a long hike, wilderness adventures are my way to switch off.
