My Story
It properly clicked at the end of 2025, standing in the most perfect corner of Uruguay, wondering how more people didn't know about this place—and how I could get them there. But if I'm honest, it started long before that: 12 years of booking travel as an executive assistant in tech, a 7-year run in hotels that began fresh out of college in 2005, and—if you want the real origin story—a cardboard-box travel agency I launched in 1994, staffed entirely by me and a strong affinity for carbon paper.
Travel Style
I love city travel, with its infinite possibilities. I love boisterous group trips, those places that are just best spent with a gaggle of friends around a dinner table. And when I beach, I want the whole place to myself, not another soul in the sand. That said! This is just how I travel. Let's talk about how you travel. My career as a luxury hotel concierge and then executive assistant has taught me how to extract from others what they want. How to read between the lines, and really match the person to the place—whoever and wherever they are!

Lauren did great. She’s easy to work with, knowledgeable, and kind. Has lots of good recommendations, but is not pushy, and keeps you excited about your trip!

Lauren is an absolute rockstar travel agent. Lauren has managed planning and booking for a number of my personal travels but my most recent trip to New Orleans that she planned was next level. I shared with Lauren was I was looking for: the vibe and location for hotel and the types of activities and meals I was interested in and she curated a personal experience that was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Not only did she handle all of the logistics (which was a life saver) but she nailed it with every reservation she made. Her recommendations and bookings made my travel experience seamless, stress-free and insanely fun. Lauren takes the time to listen to the type of experiences you want and works with you to make sure your trip is perfect. I will be working with Lauren for all of my future travel bookings and I highly recommend that YOU DO, TOO!

A Lesser-Known Corner of South America for the Bougie Traveler: José Ignacio, Uruguay
José Ignacio feels like it grew out of the landscape itself—buildings rising from rolling dunes, beach grass, and stone as if nature designed them first. It’s a place shaped by real sophistication, yet it never loses its wildness. Days unfold slowly here: long walks on the beach, kayaking, swimming, horseback riding, all punctuated by the pleasures of locally sourced food and small local wineries. It’s a rare balance of refinement and rawness, and that’s what makes it unforgettable.
