Working with Lauren was great--she gave me the piece of mind I needed to plan a 2-week, multi-leg trip in Europe for my honeymoon, while I was also planning a wedding. She really understood our priorities and the way we like to travel. She was a great advisor, who helped us map out our trip logistically (when and how to travel from city to city). Most crucially, she prepared fantastic hotel options for us that took so much stress out of travel planning for me. Every hotel we stayed at was centrally located, beautiful, clean, with great service, and at many she secured perks for us like free beverages or complimentary breakfast. Lauren was easy to reach and always available for questions over email or phone, while also giving us space and time to make decisions with our busy schedules. I really appreciated that she never pressured us to go outside of our budget or add things on that we weren't interested in. Only thing I might have changed, would have been to book our own train tickets, since we ran into some hiccups authorizing our AmEx.

Lauren made the entire experience a delight from start to finish. She's prompt and professional, and thinks of everything, from child sleeping arrangements, to parking, to scouting out nearby attractions and things to do and see every day. Knowing Lauren's planned everything ahead of time makes taking the trip a breeze. I never want to plan a trip by myself ever again.

Site Inspection of the Civilian Hotel in Hell’s Kitchen
I recently had the opportunity to tour the Civilian Hotel, a stylish gem in New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood. Tucked away on 48th street, you are situated just outside the chaos of Times Square, but still have the city at your feet. If you want to venture to Times Square, or take in a show, you are steps away. Or walk just a few blocks further and you will find Rockefeller Center, Lincoln Center, lots of great shopping on 5th Avenue, Hudson Yards and the always beautiful Central Park. This really is the best location for experiencing so many of the wonderful things that New York City has to offer.

Site Inspection at The Penny Williamsburg in Brooklyn, New York
The Penny Williamsburg is a neighborhood gem that makes it feel like you are staying in a friend’s well-stocked apartment, with the heart of Brooklyn at your front door. When guests check in they are surrounded by amazing artwork in the lobby. Occasionally Penny the chihuahua, the hotel's namesake, greets them herself! This hotel perfectly captures the spirit of this buzzy neighborhood.

Tips for Traveling With a Baby
Traveling with a baby can feel daunting, but it can also be very rewarding! Babies tend to do relatively well on airplanes and in new places — don’t get me started on flying long distances with a two or three year old, that is not for the faint of heart. With a few tips for traveling with a baby, it will actually be enjoyable, and you may even get some relaxation time in for yourself!
