My Story
I'm a food and wine travel advisor specializing in custom travel itineraries for wine regions and food and culture-driven destinations. With firsthand experience in over 22 wine regions across the world, I design trips that combine luxury lodging, regional cuisine, and a relaxed pace. Active planning regions include Oregon's Willamette Valley, the Pacific Northwest, Portugal, Southern England, France, Spain, New Zealand... and anywhere your curiosity takes you.
Travel Style
My trips move at the speed of a long lunch. No rushing to the next thing, just good food and wine and time to enjoy it. You stay in beautiful, comfortable places, and because I know the winemakers, chefs, and hoteliers myself, you get the kind of welcome that comes from a real relationship, not just a reservation. It's all planned around you, down to the slightest detail, but none of that is yours to manage or stress over—you can just be in the moment. I believe travel done well is the best investment you can make in yourself and the people you love, and I look forward to creating those kinds of experiences for you.

Laura is the most thorough and detail-oriented travel advisor we have ever worked with and we’ve worked with many. She has encyclopedic knowledge of the best places to visit, eat, and stay to fully appreciate Oregon and she gave us numerous helpful options for sightseeing, restaurants, hotels and experiences. She even created Google Maps projects to guide us from place to place on our road trip. All throughout the planning process she was always flexible and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and her advice played a primary role in that outcome. We also appreciated that she was completely transparent about the cost of her services, whereas most advisors we’ve previously worked with combine all the costs for the trip including the cost of their services into a single lump sum. Based on our very successful experience with Laura we have no hesitation at all to enthusiastically recommend her to others.

Laura was absolutely incredible! She was easy to communicate with, listened to what we wanted, and adjusted our hotel options with feedback. She is extremely thoughtful in all of the work she puts into her experiences. When she booked the Hyatt for us, she pulled out all the stops and went above and beyond. Cannot recommend using Laura to book your next trip enough, and will use her for all of my future bookings.

Laura is incredible. This trip was my husband and my honeymoon - so to have Laura plan everything for us was such a relief with the added stress of wedding planning this year. Alabama is surprisingly a large Oregon wine hub (especially Birmingham, where I'm from) and I've told anyone that will listen about how this trip was planned. Laura was available anytime I needed her and answered every question and concern I had. Our trip fit our personalities so well. We love a planned itinerary with room to ebb and flow - and that's exactly what we got!

Pinot noir is the draw, but I find that the best experiences go beyond a standard flight: a library selection, a barrel tasting with the winemaker, or a thoughtful chef-led pairing. Between winery visits, there are plenty of other ways to round out the trip—from lavender fields to farm tours and quick trips to the coast for a change of scenery.
