Lived abroad for more than half my life—grew up in Japan, studied abroad in Norway, and now, living with my husband in Italy for 5+ years. I love boutique hotels, wine resorts, and lesser-visited destinations. My service is detailed and involved. High-touch clients are my forte.

Sophie and Lanier at Soul Purpose Travel take all the stress and difficulty out of travel planning. In a world where there are a thousand hotels, restaurants, and coffee shops to choose from, plus endless reviews to sift through, they do all the heavy lifting so you can actually enjoy your trip.For me, the hardest part of booking travel these days is that there are just too many options. I get major decision fatigue, so it was such a relief to feel confident that everything they recommended would be great. These ladies are avid travelers. Travel is truly their life. One moment that really stuck with me was arriving in Tokyo at 6am and being able to check into our hotel by 6:15am without paying for an extra night. Honestly unheard of. Sophie somehow managed to get us a check-in that was NINE hours early. Having a place to recharge that first morning completely changed the start of our trip.From sweet notes left in our room to locals-only restaurant recommendations, they made us feel so special the entire time - each day was better than the one before. This was our second trip we organized with Lanier/Sophie. Already looking forward to planning our next trip with Soul Purpose Travel. Thank you both!

Our experience booking through Lanier was truly exceptional. Even with a last-minute plan, everything was handled seamlessly and with such care. From the moment we arrived, we felt the thoughtful touches — like being greeted with champagne — that made the trip feel personal and unforgettable.

She was a great communicator, easy to get ahold of her, and really thoughtful. She took into consideration all of our likes and dislikes. We also made adjustments along the way as the trip unfolded to best meet our needs since you can’t plan for everything and your mind may change. She was so helpful and I’ve recommended her to others as well.
