Hi, I’m Kristin! Based in Colorado and the founder of Raising Hikers, I lean on my “Type A” planning style to craft unforgettable, outdoor-focused journeys. My love for exploration began while studying abroad in Europe and has since taken me to over 30 countries. Today, I combine that global background with local expertise to help families trade the stress of logistics for more time spent outside.

Kristin recommended this hotel to us and this was the highlight of our trip. She recommended we spend a night in downtown San Antonio which was not in our original plan but we are so happy she suggested it. Kristin was super helpful in the planning, booking and execution of our trip. She gave us recommendations for things to do and sights to see!

We had a great experience working with Kristin as our travel advisor for the Mexico City portion of our trip. She helped put together a thoughtful plan that made exploring the city easy and stress-free for our family. The recommendations she shared were spot on and helped us experience places and activities we probably wouldn’t have found on our own.
Kristin was also great to work with throughout the whole process. Communication was quick and helpful whenever we had questions, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making sure our trip went smoothly. Traveling with kids can add a few extra moving parts, but everything felt well planned and easy to navigate.

Kristin was an amazing travel planner! She was able to book private transfer to and from the airport for less than the cost of an uber. We had a very short trip and she built us a full itinerary that made the most of our time in Mexico City. She was very responsive and quick to make adjustments to the itinerary based on our preferences. I would highly recommend booking with Kristin. You won’t regret it!
