My Story
I have been traveling the world since I was a child, and have spent the last 22 years sharing my adventures with my husband and four sons. I specialize in family experiences, senior travel, and cruises (particularly Royal Caribbean). I have taken the most luxurious trip to Dubai as a daughter, the most budget trip to China as a teacher, the most gorgeous trip to Croatia as a friend, the most family-friendly trips to Germany, Czech Republic, France, Greece, and Italy as a parent, the most relaxing trips to Ireland and the Caribbean as a wife, and everything in between. Also, in the last few years, we have discovered the ease and fun of cruising, especially with kids. We have taken long and short cruises on both smaller ships and the world’s largest, Icon of the Seas. I so look forward to helping you curate the perfect trip for you and/or your group.
Travel Style
I do not believe that the more you spend, the better your vacation will be. Rather, I believe that really immersing yourself in a culture (local hotels, small restaurants, curated tours and experiences, etc.) is how to really maximize your experience. The more you travel with kids, the better travelers they become! I also believe in just exploring without an itinerary for part of every trip. Our daily lives are so programmed that I find happening upon your favorite ice cream shop or parfumerie can be just as enriching as a guided tour. I prefer boutique hotels, mom-and-pop shops, local private tour guides, and culture-rich experiences.

Krista has become my foremost trusted travel advisor for international trips, including to Asia, because she has vast knowledge of the hotel scenes across major cities. Since she is a luxury global traveler herself, she has insights around the subtle differences that exist between 5-star hotels and resort options and does a fantastic job describing tradeoffs and considerations about the hotels. She understand my family's preferences and needs and always steers us in the right direction. Our recent stay at Capella Taipei was just one of many examples. I appreciate the travel tips that she provides and all of her recommendations beyond hotel options, from airline logistics to restaurants and activities. Krista is fantastic!

Krista is an amazing travel advisor who came up with the idea of staying at the Rosewood Hong Kong which made our trip one of the best we have taken in our lives. Krista carefully walked us through the room options at the hotel and provided a continuous, transparent line of communication with the hotel leading up to our arrival which made for a seamless check in experience. Krista also made sure the hotel took not of all of our preferences and even arranged for the room to be made up for a birthday celebration. Her attention to detail and knowledge of properties in Asia proved invaluable. We look forward to using Krista's expertise on all international travel arrangements going forward. She is amazing, top notch, and the best in the business!
