Katie went above and beyond to make my trip to Tuscany a success. The villa was wonderful. Exactly what I had envisioned when I started planning this trip with her. She coordinated most of the transportation from Florence to Villa Serravalle which was complicated with so many groups coming and going. And the chef she found to do the cooking class and specialty meals was fabulous.

And honestly, I think you could already tell from our messages that we didn’t love it, but what we appreciated was how you checked in and stayed present. Even when things were outside your control, you were available in a way I didn’t expect from a planner, especially on our honeymoon. It made us feel supported even when the property didn’t deliver, and it took a lot of the frustration out of it knowing we had you to lean on.

It just wasn’t the experience we hoped for, especially for the price and how excited we were. But having you available, and knowing how much thought you put into everything else, made a huge difference in how we handled it emotionally.

And again, this is where your planning was exactly right, Katie. You placed us in a hotel that fit our vibe so well: modern without being cold, luxe without being snobby, and full of things to do but not overwhelming. It felt like you really understood what we’d respond to. Christopher kept saying this was the hotel where he realized we need a planner even for trips that aren’t “big.” It made everything effortless for us.

And this is where your planning really showed, Katie. We felt like you matched our taste perfectly. Chic but grounded, not too over-the-top, places with personality rather than flash. The EDITION was exactly the kind of modern-luxe that works for us, and it made us feel like you really understood the type of experience we gravitate toward. My husband also said this was one of those hotels where he felt the most grateful we had a planner, because it would’ve been so easy to pick something wrong in this part of Barcelona.

We left wanting to stay at EDITION hotels everywhere we go next.

Katie was incredible to work with from start to finish. She took over our hotel booking at Lupaia, and went the extra mile to make it personal. When we arrived, we found a sweet treat, a thoughtful gift, a handwritten note, and even a photo from our wedding waiting for us in our room. The biggest heartfelt surprise!! Her attention to detail and care made our trip feel so special. We can’t thank her enough!
