My Story
Teacher by day and travel agent by night based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam wanting to make travel easy and accessible for you.
My Travel Style
I’m passionate about making travel easy and accessible to others. So often, we think traveling is too complicated, expensive, or out of reach, and that can feel intimidating. I love helping people overcome those hurdles, whether it’s planning their first international trip or finding hidden gems close to home. I focus on thoughtful, personalized experiences that reflect who you are, not just what’s trending. With me, you’re not just booking a trip; you’re building a travel experience that feels exciting, manageable, and truly your own.

MC Travels was so helpful in planning my trip to Europe this past Thanksgiving. I knew I did not want to have to "think" too much about what my husband and I were going to do each day of our trip, and sometimes I can go down rabbit holes of searching for hotels, activities, etc for hours, usually ending up with nothing concrete at the end of my search. MC Travels helped plan my basic day to day plans, including the big touristy sites but also suggestions of where to eat, what type of transportation to use, which companies to use for what. The hotel accommodations she found for us in Budapest were absolutely amazing! It took a lot of the thought out of planning and saved me HOURS of mindless searching.

Advisor had very timely communication and planned all excursions we wanted on the days we wanted to do them. She provided easy to use schedule to keep track and links for waivers that made them easily accessible. She provided great recommendations for restaurants, local spots, beaches, and much more. We had one problem with excursion/hotel while on the trip and she handled it for us and even corrected to situation when the hotel made no effort to fix it. We are very happy with the trip that she helped to plan and think she did a great job! She made sure our trip was set up and ready to go and made it very relaxing once we got there. Would definitely recommend her to others and will use her for advising on future trips!

Cafe Culture: Cafes in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
When people first hear “Vietnam” they don’t immediately think of coffee. In the last 50 years, Vietnam has grown to be one of the biggest coffee producers in the world for robusta beans. Cafe culture is so special to experience here because it’s more than just sitting in a cafe and getting work done, but an opportunity to slow down, enjoy time to oneself, and/or to catch up with others. You are never too far to experience cafe culture in Vietnam, as there can be over ten cafes on one block! In this guide, I’m going to give you three of my favorite cafe spots to enjoy on your future trip to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The Paris of the East: A Beginner’s Guide to Budapest, Hungary
Budapest is considered “The Paris of the East”. For me, this is the first city that I went to work internationally for the first time, and really immersed myself in all of the history and culture it has to offer. Having lived in this city for two years, and getting the chance to have lived in the center of it, I have seen why it has been given this nickname. Although Budapest is its own city, the parallels that it has with Paris make it a place that is attractive to visitors and is making it only grow in popularity through its history and culture. If I could go back like I had never been to Budapest, these would be the places I would go and experience the city as a first-timer.
