My Story
A former city mouse with a passion for exploring new places. An expert on how to best enjoy that cute little beach town during the off-season.
My Travel Style
I’m a fan of travel that involves spending time in a new town or city, but with easy access to the great outdoors. On my own adventures, I’ll plan my day around food & wine or a particular excursion, while allowing free time to roam and explore as I please. Born and raised by the ocean, I always love discovering a seaside town and what makes it unique. As your travel advisor, my goal is to find out what it is that you love about travel. I incorporate that into an unforgettable experience tailored just for you.

She was very attentive to my needs and able to tailor my trip perfectly! She was very responsive and communicated throughout the whole process. Even when we had an issue with flights, that we had booked through Amex travel and therefore had nothing to do with her, she went above and beyond trying to find us alternate flights if Amex couldn't help.

Kate Kelley made our trip to Italy easy to plan ahead of time and easy to get around once we were there. She got a feel for what things we wanted to do, offered options that we could then choose from (vs getting overwhelmed with too much information and too many choices), then she did all the booking of hotels and tours, etc, and then she condensed the itinerary which had all the necessary information we would need to reference, into one document that was easy to access. Kate did a lot of work putting together our vacation plans and I really appreciated it! I would highly recommend using Kate Kelley to assist you in planning your next vacation!

In addition to the above details, Kate arranged both an upgrade in room and discount as I am a Marriott Bonvoy gold elite member. Kate will get you a terrific deal. I highly recommend her and intend to contact her in the future.

Kate was essential in helping us book our first trip to Italy! When we told her where we wanted to go, she was very responsive to our needs in what we were looking for. She sent over hotels that were within our budget and the booking was seamless. We were a bit nervous of international public transit and she gave us a very detailed plan on what train lines to catch to make our travel as easy as possible. She also aided us in finding a wine tour in Tuscany as well as a private food tour in Florence! Both experiences were incredible and we are so glad we did them to experience the local culture! Kate was so helpful and eased us of any worry for international travel. She was wonderful and would definitely book with her again! Thanks Kate!

Greetings From Asbury Park - A Local’s Guide to the Coolest Spot on the Jersey Shore
When I first moved from NYC to live with my future husband in New Jersey, I knew virtually nothing about the state except that it was across the river from Manhattan and that Bruce Springsteen was a proud resident. I owned his first record, titled "Greetings from Asbury Park", so I thought I’d go explore and see what that place was all about. Little did I know that I’d grow to love it so much, I would eventually get married there!
Asbury Park is a beach town on the Jersey Shore that feels like the perfect juxtaposition of my favorite places—a walkable city with a vibrant food and drink scene and opportunities to find great music at any given time, as well as a beautiful beach town with a laid back feel where all are welcome. There’s plenty of things to do, both indoors and out, and I have to say, the vibes are just excellent. I’ve become a proud Jersey local and Asbury Park is hands down my favorite place to hang out, and an ideal location to the spend a long weekend.

A Beautiful Place by the Sea: Guide to Ogunquit, New England’s Best Kept Secret
I was born and raised in New England, and my family has spent summertime in the seaside town of Ogunquit, Maine for generations. It is truly one of my favorite places in the world. I’m lucky to have made many wonderful memories there. This guide is just a taste of what this superb little corner of the world has to offer.
Originally a village within the town of Wells, Ogunquit was named for the Abenaki word that translates to “a beautiful place by the sea.” This description couldn’t be more on the nose! With stunning white sand beaches, fantastic local cuisine and an abundance of beautiful resorts and hotels, Ogunquit is the epitome of the quaint New England coastal town. In spite of being a popular vacation destination, a majority of the businesses here are small and locally owned. This gives the town a very unique and almost timeless vibe—I can personally attest that there are several recommendations included in this guide that have been around since my parents were children. Come and see for yourself—they don’t call Maine “Vacationland” for nothin’!
