Our Story
I'm a bespoke travel planner and experienced traveler specializing in boutique stays and novel, moving experiences. Thanks to my background in event coordination, academia, and the arts, I bring a thorough, detailed-oriented, deeply researched approach to your trips, paired with a keen appreciation for matching aesthetics, pace, and ambiance to your personal preferences. I believe experiencing new places and cultures expands our worldviews and enriches our lives, and I'm honored and excited to help you do just that with your "one wild and precious life".

I combine insider knowledge and access with planning tailored to each client’s pace and priorities. Travel can stimulate us by taking us outside of our comfort zones, and yet we also want to remain present, grounded, regulated, and well-rested to maximize our enjoyment of the journey. I help you achieve this careful balance through well-crafted and supported trips that allow you to focus on the experience and entrust the details behind the scenes to me.

Kate was very attentive to my needs, booking guidelines, budget, and special needs. She quickly put together an excellent itinerary across Andalucia in Southern Spain in a pinch with a quick turnaround, knowing I'd soon be headed toward the first city. She kept me well-appraised of her progress in making the arrangements and was able to find some really unique, affordable luxury hotels that I likely wouldn't have been able to find on my own. Most of all, her diligent effort and fast response took off my shoulders the burden of coordinating under a tight timeline while I was jet-lagged and busy with other engagements. In addition to making hotel reservations, Kate booked a rental car to match my departure/arrival schedule when trains were sold out during the summer holiday season, and she sent tourism overviews with recommendations of places to visit and eat in each city, making it easier for me to promptly assess where I would go immediately upon landing in each new city. Because I was hitting a new city every day for 6 days, there was a lot to plan for me! Overall, Kate was kind, responsive, helpful, and has extremely good taste. There were only a couple of hotels I wasn't in love with, but it had little to do with Kate's service and far more to do with what was available within my limited budget with very little advance booking time in the more expensive and popular locales. Touring historic Andalucia and coastal Spain was the memorable trip of a lifetime, and Kate made it possible.
