My Travel Style
US-born and raised abroad, I've spent a lifetime collecting passport stamps and epic memories. From backpacking in Cinque Terre while studying abroad, to my bachelorette in Cuba, to a cruise down the Nile River at age 7, my travel style balances cultural immersion (think seeing, doing, and eating everything) mixed in with a healthy dose of R&R. In the last 10 years, I’ve combined my love of travel with teaching fitness and led retreats all over the world. Whether you’re planning a honeymoon, a multi-generational family trip, or some fun solo travel—I’ve done a little bit of it all and would love to help you plan your next adventure.

Working with Karla was so easy and helpful! She is a great communicator with spot-on recommendations and perfect follow-through. She was able to upgrade us to a family suite which made our stay extra pleasant! My kids were thrilled with the welcome treats. Can’t wait to plan our next trip with Karla.

Can we give her 6 stars? She was that great! Our experience working with Karla was over the top exceptional. She listened to us, put together a strong initial plan that allowed us to collaborate and develop a dream vacation for a very special celebration and adventure. 7 cities, 30 days, untold number of restaurants, high and low, and local sightseeing trips were just part of it. The other part was the care and the flexibility and the responsiveness to last minute requests and unplanned visits to urgent care and changed plans. She, almost literally followed us around and welcomed us in each of our stops, providing recommendations and updates and checking in to see how the experience was unfolding. We felt her care and presence the whole time. It’s the only way we are doing trips like this ever again. Thank you, Karla!

I was a little skeptical in working with a travel advisor since I have always booked my own travel, but working with Karla made everything so easy. She listened to exactly what I wanted out of a stay and found me the perfect place. I can’t wait to work with her again.

Karla is magic and I would recommend her to anyone planning a trip - big or small. 14 days before our trip, we had a flight to Lisbon, but no other plans or reservations. Karla not only found us hotels that matched our vibe, but she suggested all of the locations where we stayed and others to visit. She was on top of every detail and was incredibly thoughtful, communicative, and fun to work with. On a very short timeline, Karla turned a trip that could have just been fly-by-the-seat-of-our-pants into the most relaxing, adventurous, enjoyable vacation for two busy parents to reconnect.
