My Story

Hi, I’m Julie—the travel advisor behind Elevated Travel. For nearly two decades, I’ve built my career in tech while traveling the world whenever I could. Planning trips has always been something I genuinely love—not just the destination itself, but the excitement of building experiences that bring people together and create lasting memories.

Over the years, I’ve traveled to nearly 30 countries and have explored the world in just about every travel style imaginable: girls’ trips with friends, luxury escapes with my husband, family adventures with kids, multi-family vacations, large group trips, and multi-generational travel. Through all of it, I became the person friends and family naturally came to for recommendations, logistics, pacing, and “how do we actually make this trip feel fun instead of stressful?"

That’s ultimately what led me here. I started Elevated Travel to help other people experience the kind of thoughtful, happy, memory-filled travel I’ve always loved building for the people closest to me.

My approach combines a strong logistics and planning backbone with a deeply personal, human-centered style. I believe the best trips feel seamless, joyful, and a little magical—where you feel connected to the place, present with the people you love traveling with most, and free to enjoy the experience instead of managing every detail.

I use my own firsthand travel experience to build thoughtful, tested itineraries rooted in what actually works in real life. I’m not interested in overpacked schedules or checking boxes just to say you did it. I care about pacing, flow, meaningful experiences, great hotels, memorable meals, and creating trips that feel elevated while still feeling personal and approachable.

Julie was so helpful in planning our trip to Colombia! We had an amazing trip. She was very thoughtful in getting to know us and finding out what was important to us in travel. She was expert in all areas of the trip, from hotel recommendations and transfers to tour options and restaurant recommendations. We loved the treehouse hotel she found - it's one of the most unique places we've stayed. She is detail-oriented and thorough and brought the full trip together. We would definitely use her services again!

She also spent the initial time to learn what our desires were and then she crafted arrangements that met everything! Will definitely use her services again as well as recommend her to others!
