My Story
DC-based mom who has survived raising twins (so far) with detailed planning and lots of lists. I can't say no to a road trip, festival or fireworks. I crave outdoor exploration, as well as fine dining and an expertly crafted cocktail.
My Travel Style
My travel style is all over the map. I enjoy getting out and truly experiencing wherever I am - tours, museums, landmarks, neighborhood wandering, food experiences, quirky attractions. However, I also appreciate a vacation where the only thing on the itinerary is to read a good book with the sound of the ocean in the background and a cold beer in my hand. I especially love road trips (ask me about planning a cross-country trek with a buddy and four kids!) and am an avid supporter of our National Parks. I've been to 32 out of 63 and I love a good National Park lodge. I'm a big proponent of exploring the world with kids, so I love planning trips for families, including grandparents. While family time is fantastic, I also book girls trips and weekend getaways for my husband and me whenever I can. Vacation time is precious. I want to help you spend it exactly how you wish.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Julie’s communication was clear, timely and thorough, but not overwhelming. She provided ideas and an itinerary that kept us moving but was also flexible enough to adjust on the fly when needed. I loved having choices, but not so many choices that it was stressful. It was like someone who has known us for a long time (and knows how our family rolls) put together a trip that was just right for us.

Julie was an immense help in planning our Wyoming trip. She supported us every step of the way, with great recommendations on lodging, meals, and especially activities. We hired Julie because I felt overwhelmed by choices, and she narrowed everything down to 3 options, which made everything manageable. She is a gem!
