Off-the-beaten-path travel and hidden gems are my specialty, and I have a tendency to plan my itineraries around food, history and architecture. I enjoy personal tours, getting to know the locals, and learning about each city I encounter. I'm all about striking the right balance for the perfect travel experience: combining points and budget-savvy tactics with indulgences when the occasion calls.

We wanted to celebrate our anniversary with something truly special: a magical surprise river cruise through Germany’s breathtaking Christmas markets. From the very first conversation, Joni took charge and turned our vision into an unforgettable reality.
Joni planned every single detail with incredible care – she listened to all our preferences (and a few secret wishes for the surprise element!), handled all the logistics flawlessly, and made sure everything was seamless so my wife was completely surprised and delighted from start to finish. The itinerary was spot-on: stunning scenery, festive markets twinkling with lights, mulled wine, and those cozy German holiday vibes we dreamed of.
What made it even more special? Joni didn’t just plan the trip – she came along with us! She was super attentive every step of the way, like a wonderful mother figure in the group – checking in, sharing tips, helping with anything we needed, and adding so much warmth and joy to the experience. It felt personal, thoughtful, and genuinely caring.
The river cruises themselves were wonderful (clean modern ships, great food, friendly crew), but Joni is the real reason this trip was perfect. She made it stress-free, magical, and more meaningful than we could have imagined.
