My Story
I just returned in late 2024 from living in the United Kingdom for over 20 years, where I had the opportunity to explore the island extensively, along with other parts of Europe. I also discovered the joy of cruising a number of years ago and continue to take cruises and travel as often as possible.
My Travel Style
I love experiencing different cultures and the food and drink they offer. From the big cities to the quaint villages, from the mountains and lakes to the coasts and beaches. I like to mix quaint BnBs with some luxury thrown in for a complete holiday experience.
My travel ideas (2)

Iceland Beyond Reykjavik
I have found no place on earth that showcases so much of nature’s beauty in such a small geographical area as Iceland. Within a few hours' drive, you can see a magnificent waterfall, volcanic black sand beaches, a lagoon with icebergs, and snow-covered mountains. Not to mention hot springs and baths located throughout the island, along with geysers and fjords to add to the mix.

Winter Getaway: Why You Should Consider London for an Extended Weekend
London is magical any time of the year, but I particularly enjoy a January or February visit to avoid the summer crowds and take advantage of savings. I lived in England for over 20 years and in London for two years. Being here in low season is like experiencing a different London—from going into restaurants and cafes without waits to visiting the world-class museums and art galleries with space to enjoy all they have to offer, not to mention still having all the fun things London is known for such as theater and shopping.
