My Story
A design obsessed, NYC-based Australian (via Los Angeles) with a passion for unique hotels and travel experiences.
My Travel Style
I love exploring new places and cultures, and experiencing cities by foot. I'm always searching for good visual details: pre-war architecture, museums and art galleries, fashion boutiques, and charming cafes and restaurants. In terms of hotels, I'm passionate about properties that aim to break out of the traditional 'hotel' mould and offer unique, well-designed experiences, and excellent service.

Jessica arranged a wonderful 3 week stay for us in New York City, on the first leg of our honeymoon. She was a pleasure to deal with. Jessica was able to get us a free upgrade at our hotel and early check-in, even though we paid a reduced membership rate. We had arrived (from Australia) at 6am, after a 24hr journey and were very grateful to have access to our room so early (by 8am)! Our larger upgraded room was much appreciated given the amount of time we were spending in NY, and it even had views of the Chrysler and Summit One. I highly recommend booking through Jessica.

Jessica organized for us to stay at The Principal in Madrid. The hotel was in a perfect location and it was a wonderful hotel. The rooftop bar was lovely. We were tired after traveling the whole day so we ate in the hotel restaurant on our first night which was fabulous. The hotel staff were very nice. On the day of my husband’s birthday, cake and balloons were left in our room. We believe Jessica alerted the hotel that it was his birthday. It was a lovely surprise for my husband. And by using Jessica to book our hotel we received complimentary breakfast and savings! We wouldn’t hesitate to use Jessica from @forguestsonly again!

Culture & Cool in West Los Angeles
One of the most popular cities in the United States, Los Angeles can seem vast and overwhelming to first (or even second) time visitors. Behind the glitz and glamour of 'Hollywood' is an eclectic and cool artistic spirit—fashion, design, culinary delights, and matcha! Below is a rundown of culture and cool in my favorite locale, West Los Angeles: the area known as Santa Monica, Venice Beach, Beverly Hills, Malibu, Culver City, and West Hollywood.

An Insider’s Guide to Noosa Heads, Australia
The Sunshine Coast in Australia is a cluster of beach towns and hinterland villages stretching Queensland’s southern coastline. One of these, arguably the most popular, is a spot I hold near and dear to my heart — Noosa Heads. I’ve spent the last twenty-seven summers in this magical beach destination, and prior to moving to New York I called it my home. From its incredible culinary scene & warm hospitality to its laidback lifestyle & stunning landscapes — Noosa is the best of Aussie culture and beaches.
