I have been a hairstylist for 18 years, and have spent the past eight years traveling the world – ready for a career change! I recently became a Mrs. and dog mom, which are both things that light up my world.
SMF is the closest. For international flights, I use SFO, OAK or LAX.
My travel style
I love diving into culture and experiencing the local side of things. Unless it's absolutely amazing, you will rarely catch me in a museum. I am more likely to be at a local watering hole making friends and changing my itinerary based on their recommendations. I'm known for staying in touch with people I meet on my travels, and traveling to see them every year or so to share a vacation in another country. These are the things that light me up. I also have a huge passion for photography since my husband is a photographer. We love to spend all day just wandering a city, capturing its beauty and stopping at cafes along the way.
Conrad Koh Samui
On the southwestern tip of Koh Samui, an intimate escape with individual villas on stilts, positioned to make the most of the spectacular ocean views.
Chalet Al Foss Alp Resort
A much-loved homebase for ski adventures near Vermiglio, with a modern-lodge style, pampering spa and jaw-dropping mountain views.
Marriott Mena House, Cairo
Just outside Cairo, this vast luxury sleep has an ornate style, an 18-hole golf course, heated pool, three international restaurants, and direct views of the Pyramids.
Recently returned from:
Tomb raiding, pyramid exploring, river cruising and desert four-wheeling in Egypt.
Wine tasting in Tuscany on a girls trip.
Hiking waterfalls and exploring rice fields at sunset in Bali.
Stuffing myself with tapas while wandering the Alhambra in Granada, Spain.
Hiking Machu Picchu.
Snowboarding in Chile and Argentina.
One thing I can't travel without...
My packing cubes and passport – duh!
Two truths, one lie:
I saw 30 countries before I turned 30.
The only continent I haven't been to is South America.
My least favorite place I have been to is Athens.
