Traveling is more than just visiting new places — it’s about embracing the journey, whether I’m exploring with my children, enjoying quality time with my husband or soaking up every moment with my friends on a girls’ trip. I’ve had the privilege of experiencing some incredible destinations, like the lush landscapes of Maui, the vibrant culture of Costa Rica, the romantic charm of Italy, the laid-back vibes of Jamaica and the excitement of New York, just to name a few. Each destination brings something special, and I love to explore them on foot, uncovering the best local spots and truly immersing myself in the culture. Some of my most memorable experiences have been a bit off the beaten path — like taking the road to Hana in the opposite direction with a 4x4 Jeep, eating termites in the rainforest in Costa Rica (yes, really!) and attending a prayer service in the Vatican. These moments stand out because they’re unexpected, and they remind me that travel is about the experiences you wouldn’t have had anywhere else. When challenges arise during travel, and they inevitably do, I view them as part of the adventure. Instead of seeing setbacks as problems, I embrace them as opportunities to adapt, learn something new and make the trip even more memorable. Every experience, whether smooth or challenging, adds to the richness of the journey and is a chance to create new memories with the people who matter most. That’s what travel is all about for me — connecting, exploring and making memories that last a lifetime.
