Jamie Maloney

We started working with Jaime after we were very disappointed with our last travel agent. Jaime has done nothing but impress us from the jump. She’s also saved this money on cruises that have surprise me and now I wonder what my last agent was doing. We have since given Jaime referrals of our friends and family and she’s treated them all like royal.

Jamie Maloney, our Travel Advisor, is amazing - She worked with us to put this trip together in a measured way through email and video conversations. She quickly got to know us, proposed an agenda, then fine-tuned it into a detailed itinerary. With each step she checked in and updated our FORA site. Eventually we had all the days planned, including ground transportation. With each decision Jamie was patient, helpful, and genuinely excited about our plans.

The highlight of our trip to Evora was a visit to the Fitapreta Vinhos, a winery located in a 14th-century medieval palace. Jamie suggested this venue and made all the arrangements for a fantastic wine tasting and tour of this amazing vineyard. We just needed to get in the car and enjoy the views there and back. She could not have known how comfortable we would feel as they greeted us. Our guide shared a little history of the area while we toured the 13th century main house. The history of the vineyards and business partners was fascinating. We toasted Jamie for this great choice!

Lisbon offered so much that Jamie created option lists with walking times. It allowed us to make choices on the day depending on weather and our stamina. We didn’t see everything, one never does. When we return to Portugal, we can review that list with Jamie! Two activities she booked for us were a baking class for Pastel de Nata and a FADO musical. Both immersed us in the culture among other visitors and citizens of Lisboa. We wanted to take a day trip up north to Navare. We hoped to include a dinner in Cascais. Jamie offered other suggestions but when she understood our reasoning, she had a plan with driver and sunset dinner at an authentic Portuguese restaurant booked by the next day. We appreciated the ease of the FORA app, especially the Table of Contents page. Jamie did a wonderful job finding the perfect hotel! Not only were the rooms spacious, but the service was excellent! She gave us some unexpected perks…one of them was valet parking. We saved $70 just from that alone. We also received 4 tickets to the winter lights show, which was super neat! Perfect for kids and adults! I recommend Jamie 100% and I will be planning my next vacation through her! Thanks Jamie!
