My Story
I’m Jamie, a born and raised New Yorker, a traveler and a seeker of new experiences. My specialty is in boutique, luxury travel with a focus in Europe and coastal escapes.
In 2019 I founded Totally Fine Travel, an independent travel consultancy, just months before the world closed its borders. Since partnering with Fora, Totally Fine is back, and I am sharing my passion for exploration and culture with clients again. I’m resourceful when it comes to flexing between luxury and cost-conscious travels so all clients can maximize their vacations.
My Travel Style
I’m a city girl who loves to eat. My great pleasure is to immerse myself in a culture through food. Farmers' markets to food carts, bistros to fine dining, my number-one rule is no wasted meals. I’ll share my haunts for the best döner kebab in Berlin, the freshest mussels in Ischia and the perfect pastel de nata in the Alentejo region.
I do more than just eat! I have a healthy appetite for earthly delights: excursions on the water, getting lost in ancient cities, gazing at art, architecture and design, and sipping a tasty glass of wine. When possible, I mingle with the locals to discover the true identity of a destination.
I also believe in the need to recharge and relax in beautiful, remote locations, far away from city life. As a New Yorker, that comes in the form of an island or a coastal destination. I swoon for turquoise waters, sandy beaches and boats intersecting the horizon line.
Whether in a bustling city or a sleepy beach town, finding the right place to stay is paramount to the perfect holiday. I seek out a club sandwich by the pool, a cocktail at the hotel lobby bar, a view from my bedroom window and crisp linens at the end of the day.
