I’ve traveled with all kinds of budgets—sometimes it’s a splurge-worthy boutique hotel, other times it’s a simple spot so I can spend more on the experiences that really matter. I love a bit of luxury, but I’ve learned that the best memories usually come from what you do, not just where you stay. For me, the magic of travel is in living like a local—wandering side streets, stumbling into neighborhood cafes, and soaking up the everyday rhythm of a place. Food is always a huge part of that.
