My Story

I have been traveling since the age of 16, having visited more than 50 countries—first alone, then with my wife, and now with our three children and with my mother. When I began traveling with my family, I quickly understood the complexity of finding hotels and experiences truly designed for a family: simple things like suites or rooms for five, connecting rooms, or rooms located close to one another when connecting rooms were not available.

I have always stayed at luxury hotels—Rosewood, Relais & Châteaux, Four Seasons, Marriott Luxury Brands, Aman, Anantara and more. Each has its own personality, its own deeply personal experience that becomes part of the pleasure of travel itself.

I am also deeply motivated by culture and museums of all kinds—from the Museum of Ice Cream in Singapore and the Tate in London to the intimate UR-MU in Kuala Lumpur and the Oli Oli Children’s Museum in Dubai, where science becomes play. Any place where there is something to learn.

I’m drawn to immersive experiences—from private tastings and wine, coffee, cheese, or chocolate workshops to local cooking classes and artisan encounters that create a deeper connection with a destination.

I also genuinely enjoy shopping in all its forms: fashion, design, beauty, local crafts, and even technology. And no matter where I travel, I’ll probably end up exploring local supermarkets and food halls—for me, they’re one of the most authentic windows into a culture.

Above all, I believe luxury travel should feel personal, enriching, seamless, and full of memorable moments shared together.

Hugo truly moved heaven and earth to make this stay happen. I was looking for a genuinely luxurious hotel in the area during exceptionally difficult dates, when almost everything was fully booked, and he managed to find La Malcontenta — an absolutely beautiful property. He took care of everything and somehow even secured us an upgrade to a wonderful suite. We were incredibly well looked after from beginning to end. Exceptional service, attention to detail and a fantastic recommendation.

Hugo found this hotel for us at the very last minute — literally on the same day. It is not the usual type of property he normally recommends, but what really mattered in this case was speed, location and availability, and he managed to find a very good solution almost immediately. It met our expectations perfectly and made a last-minute situation completely stress-free.

I couldn’t be happier with the service Hugo provided from start to finish. He was always incredibly responsive, answering every question almost immediately, offering plenty of great options, and making the whole planning process effortless.
