In preparation for my trip, Howard sent a packet letting me know what to expect, a proposed itinerary, and Portuguese greetings a day salutations. While there, Howard took us all around Salvador, explaining the culture and history of this beautiful city. We also visited other surrounding areas outside of Salvador. Independence Park Hotel, BW Premier Collection is a wonderful gem located in the heart of the historic Old City section of Philadelphia. It is a fully renovated, nationally registered historic hotel. Very comfortable rooms, cozy and warm on chilly Fall evenings. Friendly and attentive service team. This hotel is excellent for families, couples and solo travelers. The best part is the location. The hotel is within short walking distance to all the major museums, monuments, restaurants and parks. The Museum of the American Revolution is literally across the street.
