My Story
From the days of backpacking through Europe and Asia as a student to present-day adventures with teenage children, I continue to find joy in experiencing the beauty of the world in which we all live. Whether a road trip through the American South (with all the necessary culinary pit-stops,) a jaunt to New York City (I can tell you the best hotel for a music-loving history buff,) a Caribbean spring break (ask me about the ideal island for families or for a romantic getaway,) or a few days in Paris (I’ll happily share recommendations for gifts, patisserie orders, and museum musts,) I would love to collaborate with you on your next trip.
Travel Style
As the founder of a creative design business, I approach travel with an artful eye, curating unforgettable and authentic experiences that connect travelers to a place with joy, fun, meaning, and delight. I’ve experienced many wonderful places in this wide world and adore being of service to others in helping them discover the spots they love, whether nearby or far-flung, more mainstream or off the beaten path. Not unlike a design commission, I deeply enjoy listening to a client’s hopes, preferences, and requirements, blending them with my own instincts, knowledge, and skills, and creating something beautiful they will enjoy for a lifetime. (Because the best part besides actually traveling is remembering the moments through stories, souvenirs, and the ways we are often changed because of the experience.)
