"Roma," just saying the eternal city's name excites my senses. The smell of fresh baked bread wafting through the narrow cobblestone streets. The tenor voice of an opera singing street performer filling your ears. The shop windows of world-renowned fashion houses beg for you to step inside. Taste the sweet strawberry gelato on your lips as you people-watch at majestic Trevi fountain, after purposely getting lost on your leisurely stroll from the Colosseum. Rome has so much to offer, but you can absolutely take in all of Rome's offerings in a few romantic days without feeling overwhelmed.

Lisbon is a romantic snapshot of old coastal Europe. With its cute fishing neighborhoods, the scent of fresh baked Pastel De Nata in the streets, Roman buildings cascading up and down hillsides, Lisbon is a lovers' getaway. There is a plethora of things to do — like exploring museums and embarking on seaside day trips — plus beautiful beaches and a food scene that (in my expert opinion) is one of the best in all of Europe.
