My Story
A travel enthusiast born in the Philippines and raised in New York. Currently based in Austin and exploring everything this city has to offer.
My Travel Style
As an immigrant who grew up in New York and a former student abroad now working for a German company. I am an advocate for transformational travel — I love to navigate all that the world has to offer through the cuisines, customs and culture that is unique to each destination. My passion is uncovering the story behind each place I visit! I am a firm believer that the best part of any travel journey is understanding the history, its people and ways of life that make it.

Austin Weekend Getaway: Luxury Staycation at Colton House Hotel
As young working professionals, we’ve all experienced bouts of frustration and weeks where the chaos leaves you feeling burnt out. Especially working for a startup, I fell in love with my job because of all the creative freedom that comes together with the culture. One big takeaway I’ve learned is to know when to take a break and walk away if you’re struggling with creative roadblocks. It was definitely one of those weeks where it felt like I was doing a million things yet not getting anything done. A change of scenery was needed for the sake of my sanity.
The Colton House is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway or staycation right here in Austin. I’ve driven past it a million times. You could blink and miss it when driving on South Congress. Little did I know that it is a hidden gem, providing a perfect environment to relax and get away from all of the noise for a weekend.

Must Do: Multi-Sensory Spa in the Heart of Milan
Italy, specifically Northern Italy and Milan, is near and dear to my heart. My aunt lives in Castellanza and my family is scattered all over the province of Varese. I go back to visit them once a year, and try to check off a few of my bucket-list items each time. Providing the perfect mix between exploring more of Italy while spending quality time with family.
QC Termemilano was exactly what I needed during my time off, allowing for me to reset and re-energize myself after dealing with a few extremely busy months at work. While I had my fun exploring Rome to start off my vacation, our long days filled with exploring the city and being constantly on the go, felt awfully familiar to the chaos I felt working.
One of my favorite things about traveling is that you can cater your itinerary to what you need out of it. Whether it be a trip to unplug and truly take in your surroundings or a new adventure to re-ignite excitement in your life. There will always be something that fits your needs across the many destinations that the world has to offer!

A Weekend in Budapest, Hungary
Budapest was not only one of my favorite trips while I studied abroad, it was where I discovered my passion for planning all things travel. It was a randomly chosen destination, booked in a coffee shop with friends after searching for the cheapest flights to a city in Europe. With only three days in a new city, I was on a mission to make the best of the time we had in Budapest and crafted an itinerary of day-to-day suggestions. We were able to immerse ourselves in the beautiful culture of the city and find a healthy balance between leisure and on-the-go fun. My first travel itinerary ended up being the perfect fit for our needs and at the end of our spur-of-the-moment trip, Budapest ended up being one of my favorite experiences in Europe.
