Our Story
I created my agency, Lore Travel, to bring your travel dreams into reality. My joy is to play match-maker between your vibe and every little detail that makes up a perfect trip—orchestrating logistics and booking distinctive accommodations, memorable meals, and exceptional experiences. I’ll always share options and choices, with considerations for off-the-beaten-path destinations that are a great match for your trip. Whether it’s a relaxing getaway, an action-packed group trip, or a multi-generational family vacation, I take the time to understand each person’s interests and needs and then simply make it all happen.
Travel Style
My personal travel style is beside the point—after a long career in research-based design, I’ve gotten really good at understanding how to prioritize what works well for people who aren’t just like me! That said, I’ve explored 30 countries and every corner of the United States, and somehow my “to visit” list is only getting longer instead of shorter. I'll balance luxurious treats with authentic local grit in order to see all sides of a destination. My favorite hotels are design-forward with unique touches, and I’m enthusiastic about supporting local businesses and communities. I like to learn, so knowledgeable guides and interesting tours are my personal travel hack—lately I’ve been all about booking a food tour on day one or two to sample local dishes and get the feel of a neighborhood.

Diana was incredibly helpful throughout our entire planning process. When we hit a snag and had to adjust our travel plans, she didn't hesitate to jump in and rearrange our bookings. Her responsiveness and expertise turned a potentially stressful situation into a seamless transition. I would work with her again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her services.

We had an incredible experience working with Diana to plan our trip to St. Maarten. Traveling with a 7-year-old and an 11-year-old can be tricky, but she made the entire process seamless and stress-free.
She really understands how to plan for families—everything from the resort selection to the daily activities struck the perfect balance between relaxation for the adults and fun, engaging options for the kids. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated, and we never once felt overwhelmed or unsure about logistics.
What stood out most was how well she anticipated our needs as a family. The recommendations were spot-on, and the itinerary gave us structure without feeling rigid. It allowed us to truly enjoy our time together without the usual planning stress.
I would absolutely recommend her to any family looking for a well-planned, memorable vacation—especially if you're traveling with kids!

Five stars isn't enough for Diana. Our trip hit a major snag when our flights fell through, and Diana (on her own vacation, no less) got everything rescheduled without batting an eye or adding a single upcharge.
She also helped us narrow down our destination from the very start, asking the right questions to make sure we picked the perfect island for us. Knowledgeable, resourceful, and genuinely invested in her clients. Already planning our next trip with her.

Diana was wonderful. We encountered multiple difficulties getting into and out of Rome, and I doubt we would have navigated them nearly as well without her help. Her recommendations for hotels and locations visited on the tour were on the money, and we had an unforgettable time in Rome. I would say more, but words aren't enough. We would stop everything to gladly book through her again.

Mostar: A Cultural Gem Hours From Dubrovnik
Recently celebrated in Conde Nast Traveler, Mostar is a hidden-gem destination and a UNESCO world heritage site. They enjoy 300 sunny days a year, and are notable for the 16th century Ottoman bridge, which is a feat of engineering and is a symbolic connection between the Muslim and Christian communities in the Old Town. Only 2.5 hours via private car transfer from Dubrovnik, it's an excellent cultural excursion to Bosnia from a stay in Croatia.

Guide to a Long Weekend in Calgary
When Americans think about the Rockies, we rarely consider that the majestic mountain range extends into the great white north of Canada. A mix of urban and outdoorsy with a strong US dollar and surprisingly quick international flights, Calgary is a great contender for a relaxing winter getaway. When everyone is turning south to find warmth, why not double-down and embrace the season?

Spend a Week Exploring Top Sights in Puerto Rico
This island is an incredible place to explore, and while you can certainly visit for a couple of days of beach and sun, I think you really need about a week to scratch the surface of the variety of things to see and do in Puerto Rico. We were lucky enough to visit with friends who grew up there and gave us the insider tips for visiting PR. Let me kick you off on planning a trip with this detailed, day-by-day guide to hitting the road and exploring San Juan and Vieques.
