Derek Fromson

Derek Fromson was the force multiplier that turned a good Aug 2026 Chicago trip with my daughter into a great trip. Derek began the process by talking through my travel goals, and how to make the most out of a trip with a 16 year old teenager. Through the discussion, Derek was able to build a wonderful itinerary that combined fun and educational tours with sporty activities on Lake Michigan. He also took the initiative to look at the Cubs baseball schedule, and was able to figure out that a morning flight one day would get us to Wrigley Field to see the Cubs play the world champion LA Dodgers. It allowed us to be part of an electric atmosphere very shortly after arriving in the city.

Furthermore, Derek was very organized, putting together a wonderful PDF that mapped out all of our bookings, and suggestions on what to do and where to go after each activity. The PDF was handy in multiple ways, not only as a reference but also as a guide I could forward to friends in Chicago seeking out the best times to link up with me. Overall, it was wonderful working with Derek on this trip!

I wish I could rate Mr. Fromson higher than 5 stars; he gave me the best travel experience that I've ever had. All the difficult parts of planning a trip were suddenly taken care of. Derek was amazing in helping my family plan our trip to Portugal. He was so thorough with every step of our trip and the process - from helping book the flights to hotels to every tour and activity that we took part in. His knowledge of Portugal is amazing so we took his recommendations seriously since they all came from a place of personal experience. Derek helped us book all of our tours and suggested some experiences that we never would have known about on our own. Derek kept us in the loop as tour providers were sending updates. We had a small miscommunication with one of our hotels that Derek cleared up right away. Our full itinerary and travel plan had every detail, every booking's QR code and ticket, and included several other "if you have time" recommendations and yummy restaurants to try. I can't recommend his services enough. His experience and attention to every single detail made it so easy for our entire family to have an amazing trip. Communication was great and everything was set up for us when we arrived, including transportation to and from the airport which was really nice and convenient. He was great about answering all of our questions and making sure we were comfortable with the accommodations and activity selections as I am pregnant and a bit limited on what I can do.
