My Story
Spoonie. Mom. Traveler. My wheelchair and I are determined to travel around the world.
My Travel Style
I'm not letting my wheelchair stop me from seeing the world in style and I hope to help others do the same. Accessible travel doesn't have to be second class. With a little research, anyone can experience luxury travel that fits their individual needs.
I believe the best way to understand a new place is to get immersed in the food and culture. I love finding the quintessential, once-in-a-lifetime experiences that will create lasting memories for all generations.

A Weekend with my Teenage Daughters in San Diego
I love taking my two teenage girls to San Diego for a long weekend. There’s so much to do - shop, eat, explore, rest, relax! Paradise Point is a great home-base. It has private individual casitas, room service, SUP boards to rent, bike rentals, s'mores. It truly has it all! Being in a wheelchair doesn’t stop me one bit. It’s a very accessible place, with ADA-compliant facilities and service providers that go above and beyond to make everyone feel accepted.

Lahaina Strong: Relax & Explore in Kaanapali, Maui
I consider Kaanapali, Maui, my second home. My family has been vacationing there almost every year of my life — so, clearly, more times than I care to admit. Kaanapali is a more relaxed resort area than Wailea or Kapalua. And, even though Lahaina burned down in 2023 and life for the locals (and tourists) is different than before, there is still so much to do on the west side of Maui. Kaanapali remains intact, which means that the three miles of white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters are still around to enjoy. It’s a great place to relax, explore, give back and indulge. With wonderful activities for young kids, teens, honeymooners and seniors, it’s a true gem for multi-generational families. Kaanapali has something for everyone.
