My Story
Chasing whimsy around the globe and constantly curating new adventures. 26 countries and counting! Passionate about art, culture, good food and glaciers.
My Travel Style
Lazy days at luxury hotels have their place, but I prefer being out and about, seeking experiences I can't find at home. I love urban adventuring because you just can't beat the food, art, history and culture that the world's great cities offer. I put a lot of effort into hunting down hidden gems and meeting locals during my travels. Trying the local cuisine and sharing a drink with a stranger is a must. I greatly appreciate nature too, and when I need to disconnect, you'll likely find me hiking on a glacier or paddleboarding on a lake.
I'm a huge advocate for exploring our National Parks! My personal trips have varied greatly in budget, sometimes blending stays in hostels with 5-star resorts on the same journey. Itineraries are great, but I like to leave some space for whimsy and spontaneity when inspiration strikes.

Daniel went over and above to ensure we’d have the smoothest stay possible. From booking to handling our accidental travel delay with later than expected arrival, he handled it all so all we needed to do was enjoy our hotel. It’s hard to find a hotel that suits our family’s size and he made an excellent recommendation. He did a great job considering our kids’ needs too in making that recommendation. I have no doubt I will book my family’s future travel with Daniel!

Daniel gave us exactly what we wanted from his services. Options for location, hotel, and a personalized itinerary. All within our budget! Once on the trip, we woke up each day and selected what we wanted to do from the list he sent us. It was the least stressful vacation I’ve ever had.

Autumn in New York: Escape to the Hudson Valley and Catskills
When the brisk autumn breeze rolls in, there’s a mass exodus of New Yorkers who leave the city to do seasonal activities upstate. If you're planning a trip to the region for the fall foliage or are one of those city folk like me who really just needs to breathe in some fresh air, then here are some suggestions for you—all within a two-hour drive of NYC.

Must-See Day Trips from Anchorage, Alaska
Three years have passed since my wife and I spent a magical month road-tripping across Alaska, soaking in the beautiful forests, glaciers, mountains, oceans and wildlife. I don’t think either of us has gone more than a week without reminiscing over that incredible trip, which checked off so many boxes on our bucket lists. We ventured into Denali and saw the tallest mountain in North America. We saw grizzlies, belugas, orcas, moose and many other creatures! I lost track of how many glaciers we got to view from land, sea and air. It was July, so the weather was perfect, and we got to experience the midnight sun! The 49th State left a big impression, and I’ll never stop trying to convince others to book their own trip to see it firsthand. For two weeks, we stayed in Anchorage, a small city (but Alaska’s largest) sandwiched between stunning scenery. The people are kind, the foodie scene is incredible, and the view of snow-capped mountains being hugged by lacy clouds on the horizon never gets old. Plus, it’s the perfect hopping off point for these fantastic day trips, all less than a 90-minute drive away.
