I’m a value-obsessed traveler who has been exploring the world full-time for the past decade—ever since I graduated high school. I want to get as much bang for my buck as possible, so I often prefer a newer mid-tier hotel than an older luxury hotel that desperately needs a renovation. I’ve traveled to over 100 countries, starting out on a budget of just $1,000 a month for several years before gradually shifting toward more luxury travel. My favorite destination is the Maldives, which I visit every year. Of the six resorts I’ve stayed at there, the W Maldives remains my top choice!
