My Story
I’m a former global nomad whose current travel style is road trips with my family, travel with friends exploring the U.S. and Mexico, and annual trips to England to see family and friends.
Travel Style
For both my trips with my family as well as solo travel and trips with friends, I prioritize exploring my destination, time in nature moving my body, and cultural opportunities such as museums, concerts, and theater. As a busy working mom, it’s critical to also ‘schedule’ in plenty of time for rest, pampering, and reading. I enjoy seeking out delicious food at local restaurants and cafes, but have been known to travel with my own personal coffee system (some things just shouldn’t be left to chance)! I’m not a big drinker, so I seek out fun evening activities or hit bed early for an early rise the next day!

A Sandwich-Generation Guide to the North Oregon Coast
My grandmother had a small beach house in Seaside, Oregon, and we spent most of our vacations there when I was growing up. Some of my favorite family memories live on the northern Oregon Coast, with my grandma and aunts woven into many of these beach memories. Now my youngest goes to sleepaway camp on the coast, which became the perfect excuse to return with my mom and older kiddo—I work remotely during the day, and in the evenings we revisit our favorite spots and make new memories while we wait for camp pick‑up. If you’re also navigating sandwich‑generation travel, this guide is my invitation to experience the northern Oregon Coast like an insider, with room for everyone to rest, play, and reconnect.

A Perfect Seattle Day from a Native Seattleite
Seattle is home for me, and a perfect day here feels like stringing together all the small rituals that make this city so special: great coffee, good carbs, time on the water, and a sunset over the mountains. As a native Seattleite, I love showing people that there’s so much more than the Space Needle and the “original” Starbucks (please skip that line). In this guide, I share the neighborhoods, markets, bakeries and coffee shops where I actually spend my time, plus a few only‑in‑Seattle experiences like outdoor saunas and ballgames under the lights. My goal is to help you see Seattle the way locals do—through the places we return to again and again.
