My Story
I’m a homeschooling mom of two amazing kids with a serious case of wanderlust. Lover of the sea. Habitually dreaming of Paris. On a mission to immerse my children in all the world has to offer.
My Travel Style
I was bitten by the travel bug in my early teens on a school trip to France. I’ve had a love affair with Paris ever since. I want to have a fully immersive experience when traveling. You can find me hitting the farmers market practicing my language skills with the locals. Buying a baguette, cheeses and a bottle of wine for a simple picnic lunch or dinner in the park while people-watching. I spend leisurely afternoons wandering the streets and taking in the beauty and history around me. I’ve always got a camera ready to capture these moments. I plan my must-do experiences, but always leave room for spontaneous tips from locals. I have been known to begin planning my next trip on the way home from my current one. I am so thankful my children (and husband) share my love of travel! I know firsthand hand some of the challenges that traveling with young ones bring. I am hoping to inspire families to travel more with their kids. I am a firm believer that in 20 years my children may not remember what they got for their birthdays, but they sure will remember the experiences from their travels.

She found me a same day hotel when I had to make a last minute trip. The hotel was within my budget and where I needed it to be.

Cortney handled my last minute booking great. I was indecisive about which cruise to actually book and which room category would be best. She talked me through all my options. Gave invaluable information on the ports of call and helped me to decide which was best for my grandkids. She walked me through what to expect at check in, and gave me tips for parking at the port and what to do once onboard to change my dining time, because the one we wanted wasn't available at booking. She picked a great room location. Close enough to the elevator but far enough away that I wasn't bothered by sound. She gave me a great beach recommendation for our stop on Labadee, explained how I could catch the bus in Aruba to the beach and helped put me in touch with someone for a private tour in Bonaire. We couldn't have been happier!
