My Story
Backpacker turned hotel snob. Based in New England, frequently found elsewhere.
My Travel Style
I fell in love with travel while backpacking during college breaks. While nowadays I prefer high-thread-count sheets over hostels, my passion for authentic experiences, exhilarating adventures, and unique accommodations, has only grown. I believe travel should be rejuvenating, whether through disconnecting in the mountains, diving deep into the culture of a new city, or basking in the sun poolside with a great book.

Claire was just as dreamy to work with as the trip itself! This was my first time working with a travel advisor and I enjoyed it more than I expected. I knew that we would be too planned out after our wedding to think about planning our post-nuptial getaway, so we looked to Claire to think for us. Although we worked with her because we were too busy to plan a trip ourselves, we would work with her again even when we're not busy! Claire provided us with the perfect balance of flexibility and control which was helpful for being able to take our hands off the wheel, but also feeling like the trip had our own personal touch. Claire understood what our preferences were for food and activities before putting together our itinerary which had the perfect daily tent-poles for items that require proactive thinking, and space between to fill the time however we'd like. Claire also made note of the celebratory nature of our trip which was fun when we showed up to all of our reservations with added congratulatory perks! Of all of the chaos that a wedding brings, this trip was something I didn't have to worry about at all. We got to pick all of the fun details and just show up when the time came. I would trust Claire to plan more trips in my future and would recommend her for any type of getaway!

Beyond the Table: Maine’s Most Memorable Food Experiences
Food is one of the first things I think about when recalling a trip. Many of my favorite travel memories are built around a meal—whether it was slow and sentimental or messy and unforgettable. That makes sense: Food is tied to landscapes, the seasons, and people. At risk of sounding cliché (not helped by the seemingly unending stream of new food travel shows these days), food is storytelling—a window into different places.
