A heartsy nomad, Bay-coastal (SF and Chesapeake Bay) and currently building a casa in Baja around a 100 year old cactus. I am creative – playwright, performer, photographer – and momma to a lovely lady and a badass cat.
My travel style
I have a system called the heart of travel. I love places that have HEART – homey, eco-friendly, artistic, relaxing and rejuvenating, and tasty. I find heart wherever I go because traveling keeps me young at heart!

Recently returned from:

Swimming with baby seals in The Sea of Cortez.
Finding the perfect fish taco at Barracuda cantina in Baja, Mexico.
Riding a pontoon searching for the green flash in the Florida Keys.

One thing I can't travel without...
An open mind and open heart.
Two truths, one lie:
A monkey tried to steal my camera at a temple in Kathmandu.
I sailed the Amalfi Coast in a beat up sailboat with a Captain who spoke no english.
I've swam with seal pups in the Sea of Cortez.
