Christina made arrangements for our trip to central Vietnam including Da Nang, Hue, and Ha Noi. She took care of us every step of the way - starting with a detailed discussion about our interests, what we hoped to see and do. How do you plan a multigenerational trip to Vietnam when expectations are high, and you don't know a single soul to give good, solid recommendations? This is the situation my wife and I found ourselves in, overseeing a trip of a lifetime. We could not screw this up! Luckily, Christina was there to guide us every step of the way. Christina connected us to Trails of Indochina (TOI), our tour guide in Vietnam, and was the intermediary on our behalf. She worked with TOI to craft the perfect itinerary and graciously handled our last minute changes. A pro tip that Christina gave us was paying the extra money to skip the line at Customs in Vietnam, this literally turned a two hour slough through a line into a five minute cake walk.

Once in Vietnam, we were well taken care of by the TOI tour guides. With our elderly parents and small children in tow, we knew that the bustling streets and free-for-all traffic patterns would be a challenge. The guides made sure we all understood how to safely cross the streets like locals. From destination to destination, the private van was always clean and on time. The activities that they planned for us were unique and culturally educational. Where else are you going to learn how to plant rice while literally riding a water buffalo?

Thanks to Christina and Trails of Indochina, our vacation was stress free, seamless, and truly a once in a lifetime experience! Five stars for both!
