My Story
I spent decades traveling across the world for work and pleasure. Always on the move, always curious. Over time, I realized what drew me in wasn’t just seeing new places, but the connections formed along the way. The small details. The moments that stay with you.
Today, I design trips shaped by that perspective: thoughtful, immersive, and deeply personal, with Japan as my enduring specialty.
Travel Style
I love journeys that go far beyond the guidebook—the kind that blend indulgence with discovery. Think a morning wander through a local market, followed by a private onsen overlooking the hills.
I believe the best trips balance precision with possibility: every detail planned to perfection, yet always with room to wander and get delightfully lost. My Type A side ensures nothing is left to chance—my traveler side makes sure it never feels that way.

Christina was fantastic to work with from start to finish. She took the time to understand my travel preferences and provided thoughtful recommendations that aligned perfectly with what I was looking for. Communication was always prompt, clear, and proactive, and I felt well-supported throughout the booking process.
What stood out most was her attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile. She helped identify options I may not have found on my own and provided valuable insights that made planning much easier and more enjoyable. Everything was handled seamlessly, allowing me to focus on the trip itself rather than the logistics.
I would not hesitate to work with Christina again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely caring travel advisor.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Christina. Planning a trip to Japan felt incredibly overwhelming at first, especially with the language barrier, the time zone changes, the trains, and trying to understand the transportation systems before ever stepping foot there. There were so many moving pieces that I genuinely don’t think we could’ve navigated on our own nearly as smoothly.
What made Christina exceptional was that she really listened to who we were as people and built the trip around that. She understood the balance we were looking for immediately.
Of course we experienced the classic parts of Japan like Tokyo and Kyoto, but she also guided us toward places like Hoshinoya in Karuizawa and Yuyado Tokinoniwa in Kusatsu, which ended up being two of the most unforgettable parts of our entire trip. The customer service at both places was honestly unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. Every detail felt thoughtful, peaceful, and intentional.
At the same time, she also understood that we didn’t need luxury accommodations everywhere. For Tokyo and Kyoto, we chose more affordable options from Christina’s recommendations because we knew we’d mostly be out exploring the cities anyway. Even those hotels were incredibly clean, accommodating, convenient, and exactly what we needed.
What truly made the experience so valuable was that Christina handled everything. She booked all of our transportation, activities, and restaurant reservations for us. Some of the reservations she secured were incredibly difficult to get and ended up being some of the most authentic experiences we had in Japan.
She also never took more than a day to respond to an email, which honestly made such a difference with the time change and the stress of planning something this large internationally.
Because she handled the logistics so seamlessly, we were actually free to enjoy the anticipation of the trip instead of obsessing over every detail with anxiety. We got to daydream about Japan instead of constantly worrying about whether we were doing everything correctly.
Nothing about the trip felt generic or overly touristy. She somehow created the perfect balance between modern Japan and quieter, more immersive experiences that we never would’ve found on our own.
I truly cannot imagine doing a trip like this without someone like Christina guiding the process. She made Japan feel accessible instead of intimidating, and she created a trip we’ll genuinely remember for the rest of our lives.

Overall, our experience was positive. We were disappointed that our honeymoon was not noted with our reservation.

Christina was absolutely the best. I’ve never used anyone to help plan a trip before because I usually love doing that myself, but once I realized how overwhelming this one was becoming, I knew I needed help.
I was referred to her through a group, and she was hands down amazing. She truly listened to everything I wanted and what was important to me. She was so patient and flexible—letting me change my mind multiple times—and still managed to put together the perfect itinerary within our budget.
She always kept our kids in mind as well, which meant so much to us as a family of six. Everything felt thoughtfully planned for all of us, not just the adults.
She was always available and honestly felt like a family member throughout the entire trip. I even felt comfortable enough to share family photos with her because I wanted her to see what she helped make possible for us—we are so incredibly thankful.
I’ve already shared her information with several people and will definitely be using her again in the future. Don’t even hesitate to book with her—you won’t regret it.

If you are planning a trip to Japan, do yourself a huge favor and book with Christina. I just returned from my journey, and I can honestly say it was one of the most seamless and well-curated travel experiences I’ve ever had.
Japan can be an overwhelming destination to navigate—from the intricate rail systems to finding the perfect balance between neon-lit cities and quiet, traditional corners—but Christina handled it all with incredible expertise.
What stood out most:
Tailored Planning: She didn't just give me a "cookie-cutter" itinerary. She took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, blending must-see landmarks with unique, off-the-beaten-path gems that I never would have found on my own.
Stress-Free Logistics: Every detail—transportation, accommodations, and regional tours—was perfectly synchronized. It allowed me to actually enjoy the culture and the food rather than worrying about the "how-to" of getting around.
Expert Knowledge: Her insights into the best neighborhoods to stay in and specific local spots were spot on. You can tell she truly knows and loves the destination.
Communication: Christina was proactive, responsive, and incredibly patient with all my questions throughout the planning process.
I cannot recommend her services enough. Whether it’s your first time in Japan or you’re a seasoned traveler looking for a deeper experience, Christina is the person to call. Thank you for making this a trip of a lifetime!

Kumano Kodo Itinerary: An Unforgettable Hike for Couples
The Kumano Kodo asks travelers to slow down—into cedar forests, mountain shrines, hot-spring hamlets, and a pilgrimage rhythm that still feels remarkably close to its ancient roots. It is one of only two pilgrimage networks on earth recognized by UNESCO, alongside Spain's Camino de Santiago, which gives this journey a rare spiritual and cultural weight. This five-day Kumano Kodo itinerary is perfect for couples who want Japan at walking pace: meaningful days on the trail, evenings in a ryokan, and the comfort of having transfers, luggage, and timing handled with care.

Fine Dining in Tokyo with Kids: Top Restaurants to Know
Tokyo’s food scene is world-renowned, and bringing kids along doesn’t mean you have to miss out on exceptional dining. As a family travel expert, one of the top questions I get is, “Where can we celebrate a special occasion with kids in tow?” From sushi to tempura, these restaurants go beyond the typical “kid-friendly” fare. They offer an authentic, unforgettable Japanese dining experience the whole family will love.
