My Story
Language lover and culture junkie who has lived abroad three times at different life stages and understands the existence and importance of (navigating) cultural differences. I’m one of those people who believes in taking your kids with you to travel, no matter their age, because you’re creating global citizens who will grow up to respect and appreciate the world beyond the bubble they experience at home.
Travel Style
Passionate about traveling to beautiful and fascinating places not just to see them, but to truly experience and learn from the locals. Sometimes it’s the chat with a taxi driver who knows the best place to get a kebab, or the hotel staff who’ve grown up in the destination and feel so proud to share their favorite places and their cultural and historical knowledge. Sometimes it’s with hand-picked tour guides or B&B owners. This is why, for custom trip design, I prefer boutique hotels and unique stays over places that feel cold and corporate. Always looking to go beneath the surface and really feel the destination through authentic experiences.
I’m always seeking authentic experiences and am passionate about making every trip I plan, for myself or others, the best one yet!

I am not sure we could have had a better experience than we did working with Christie! She was professional, prompt, detail-oriented, efficient, knowledgeable, and incredibly encouraging throughout the entire process. During the reservation phase, she offered multiple great options and asked thoughtful questions to help us choose the trip that best suited our needs. Once everything was booked, Christie continued to go above and beyond—providing helpful insights and assisting with everything from activity planning to airport transfers and travel logistics. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a travel agent and will absolutely be using her again for future trips. She’s the best!

We have used Christie many times for our travel arrangements. She is the best in terms of recommending hotels, booking transit options and tours. I can’t say enough about her follow up and proactive nature. Her attention to details makes for a seamless vacation. We can’t recommend her enough.

Christie is the best! She listened to my hopes for what our Ireland trip could be, and my time and budget constraints, then proposed an itinerary that was out of this world.
I thought about planning this trip on my own, but I’m so glad I didn’t. Christie found better hotels than I ever would have found. She also found terrific activities for us, which I never would have considered (like renting e-bikes and touring Innis Mor). She’s very knowledgeable, but also has a network of people she reached out to, which made all the difference.
Every hotel we checked into had a lovely card and treat from Christie, too. It made us feel so appreciated and special. I can’t wait for Christie to plan our next adventure!

Golf Trip to San Diego
Golf is a sport worth traveling for. Some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world can be found on golf courses, and taking the time to be in nature with friends can create magical moments and memories that last a lifetime — no matter what the scorecard says at the end of the day! Many people think of Ireland and Scotland as the most iconic destinations for golf lovers, but sometimes time and money require a shorter trip, closer to home. So why not venture out to San Diego, where the skies are blue, and the weather is conducive to golf year-round?!

San Diego Beach Towns of North County
San Diego: the oft-forgotten little sister of the behemoth city to the north. The charm of visiting lies not particularly in the downtown area — although there are a few noteworthy things to see and do — but in its beach towns just up the coast. I’m referring specifically to the stops from La Jolla up to Oceanside. This area is my playground. Let me introduce you.
