The kind of travel that I'm passionate about is the kind where you are able to immerse yourself in the culture of the area you're in. I want to learn the languages before I get there and get "Oh you speak our language" smiles from locals. I want to take a cooking class and learn about the local markets and foods available in that country and take home a cook book from them that I'll use over and over again. I want to walk down the street and observe the locals living their daily lives and learn the benefits of living their way and adopt some of their practices into my daily life.
