My Story
I spent three decades in boardrooms before I admitted what I’d known all along: the trips were never just holidays. They were the point. Finance taught me rigor—travel taught me everything else—how a place reveals itself when you stop rushing it, and how rarely “luxury” and “meaning” arrive in the same suitcase.
Stories of Eden was born from that gap. I kept meeting people who could afford anything but came home with nothing: five-star stays that could have been anywhere, itineraries built for photographs rather than memory. I wanted to build journeys with a conscience and a soul. Places that give back more than they take. Hosts who still own their own story. Luxury that will still be there, intact, for whoever comes after us.
Every journey we design starts with the same question I ask myself before any trip: what will you actually remember? If the answer is the lobby, we start again.
Travel Style
I travel the way I dress: with intention. I’d rather spend three days in one neighborhood than tick off ten cities, and I’ll happily cross town for a tailor, a bookshop, or a Negroni made properly. Luxury, for me, isn’t thread count—it’s a hotel with a soul, a table where the owner still cooks, a place that hasn’t flattened itself for tourists. I plan carefully, then leave room for the detour that turns out to be the whole point. Elegant, curious, a little contrarian. And always overdressed for the airport, on principle.
